I have just gotten a copy of my MRI results, and am still not real clear on what it says...even from reading the impression. Wondering if anyone might can shed some light on it for me.
Impression
1. Small free edge and undersurface tears of the posterior horn of the lateral meniscus.
2. Loss of cartilage overlying the patella with edema throughout Hoffa fad pad suggesting synovial inflammation
3. Mild degenerative change of the medial compartment.
Just a little background...ive had 6 surgeries so far. All started with a simple torn medial meniscus, followed by a lateral release then everything went downhill from there. I have not been able to regain my ROM in almost 2 yrs and have just found out I have RSD on top of everything else. My X-rays showed that the bones in this leg are about 1/3 the size of the ones in my "good leg", so I am getting desprate here about what to do!!!
Any help would be greatly appreciated!!
