Tendon trouble behind knee
« on: November 30, 2008, 05:23:04 AM »
Ive had soreness in the tendon behind the knee and just dont seem to be making any progress with it, wondering if anyone else has had this. I was running  3 times a week on grass for just 20 mins, I quit 6 weeks ago hoping it would clear up. Ive been getting physio on it since and no difference, got xrays and ultrasound done, all ok. Ive just had an injection procaine hydrochloride I think it was, so will see how that goes. Its a very deep pain right behind the knee, at least it seems the tendon is the culprit anyway. I ice it, put voltaren on it, all seems to have made no difference whatsoever

A visit to an Orthopaedic Consultant is required followed by a MRI scan, this should establish the cause of the pain.
