I used to pick up gears to Minsitry - "Just one Fix", and Metallica - "dont tread on me" ... and "thunderstruck" by AC/DC always helped get me moving too!
Mind you these were all rehab songs!

Sep-05 ACL rupture, Medial mensical tear, MCL rupture
Oct-05 Had it all repaired (hamstring graft, meniscal rivet)
-and then-
4.5 Months post-op Snowboarding like a demon
7 Months post-op Successful return to indoor soccer (YEH!)
-and then-
Mar-2015 Arthroscopy to fix meniscus

Yeah,  Feeny - (older) AC/DC is one of my faves for working out!

I don't have any specific songs, but I find up-tempo music gets me going and keeps me there.  If the tempo is too slow, I feel too much like relaxing.    ;)
1960s-style go go dancer
Bicycle accident (not my fault, grr) 4 Sept 08
Left knee- ACL, 2 meniscus tears, MCL tear
ACLr (allograft achilles tendon) 31 October 08

Great thread i wanted to share my song that always helps me its kind of weird because its a sad one and not one that lifts me, but it discribes the way i feel when im having a bad knee day, its "nobody knows" by pink. The bit where she sings nobody knows that i sometimes cry, what a classic saying when your going through years of knee trouble.
On a more positive note i love do rehab to summer of 69 by brian adams.
lets get the music started and get rehabbing.

regards

Em

It's like an AC/DC fanclub in here!!

I've just done my excercises and biking to the classic back in black album, and part of the new one....love it!

I also like listening to GnR and Airbourne when i excercise.....aloong with some metal which most of you probs wont have heard of (exception of metallica!)
