Back to the drawing board
« on: November 07, 2008, 05:39:31 PM »
Well looks like it is back to drawing board with my right knee again. :'(  After having a second LR done os my knee nothing was going right: I was 6 months post op and could only bend my knee 65 degrees (and that was pushing it) I was in constant pain, was not able to sleep at night from the pain. Well we decided to try the Synoivc injections and you know after the 3rd one for about 3 weeks I was feeling better. i was back to riding my horses and even took on going to a horse show. Not really pushing it just hacking around and having fun. Then at the begining of this week I got out of bed and OH MY LORD the pain in my knee was HORRIBLE!! I walked around for a bit and it started to feel  better as the day wore on it got stiffer and more and more painful. Now I am to the point that walking feels like someone is stabbing a knife thru my knee it is horrible and it just gets worse as the day goes on. I have an appt with my doctor next week so I guess I will just have to see what it is that he has to say.
On the good side my hubby bought be an early x-mas present. He bought me a 10 month old warmblood colt!!! He is going to be a HUGE horse he is getting to come home this weekend. I am thinking about naming him GAME OVER or Devils Advocate
I'm so busy that I'm not sure if I lost my horse or just found my lead rope.

Hope you get answers about you knee (what a nightmare).

Just had to say what a fantastic Christmas present.  Hopefully you will be fighting fit by time he is ready to back.  Will be frustrating waiting until you can handle him without worrying about the knee.

I'm jealous brill present.

PBRwife ~ I wish you the speediest recovery so you can enjoy playing with your baby. What a very special present from your husband. An envious Ellie
