soccer and ACL
« on: November 07, 2008, 06:43:08 AM »
hello everyone-

it's almost a year post op and i'm still not physically where i want to be. PT is done and seeing the OS every 6 months. i am now in a bledsoe hard brace but don't want to wear it. it's a hassle because i like to play soccer in the park just one on one...but there are so many rules from the OS and PT! I WANT TO GO BACK TO PLAYING ROUGH, although i still want my knee to recover peacefully. just got back from a trip to yosemite national park though and i did i half day hike in my brace. i would love it if i could go back to extreme competitive soccer again but i'm scared to but psyched at the same time.

any soccer players out there who are fully recovered from a ACL reconstructive surgery?

The title to your thread needs to be changed if you want football players to respond - and maybe switch it's location to the Cruciates Board. There are lots of football players there both male and female.
