emslie trillat operation ..really need some info on what to expect

Hi

I have chronic pain in my knee which has caused fluid to build up and my knee to be constantly out of place.  Its very painful and i am having an enslie trillat operation in three weeks.  My surgeon has not told me very much so i don;t know what to expext with the operation and how long i will be off my feet.

Can someone help fill me in or refer me to an info sheet please

Hi.  I had the procedure on August 11th am am still recovering - but try not to worry too much it's definately worth it.  Have a look at my post op diary where I have given quite an indepth review of the progress I have made.  I also did not get a lot of info prior to surgery and only found this wesite recently. Hope everything goes well x
