MRI results
« on: October 26, 2008, 04:51:47 AM »
Would appreciate some one to decipher my results:
1-oblique tear of the lateral meniscus extending to the inferior articular surface
2-attenuation and prior debridement of the medial and lateral menisci
3-status post reconstruction of teh acl with an intact surgical graft
4-small joint effusion
2 and 3 I understand so, far. You would think with this being my 4th surgery I would have some of the lingo down but I'm still learning.
Again appreciate some help

1996- L knee surgery ro repair torn meniscus
1997-L knee torn acl repaired

It just means you have a tear in your lateral meniscus and you have fluid in your knee.
