Recent Arthroscopy

Hi all,

Ive just had an arthroscopy on my knee,when reading some notes that i received from thr nurses there is a mention of a partial menisectomy,
can some one shed some light on this for meand tell me what a menisectomy is?? ligament repair??

the meniscus is the padding between your femur and thebottom part of your leg. its like a shock absorber. a menisectomy means they had to remove some of it. usually because its torn or something like that    bella
