Fulkerson technique?

Hi All,
Just wondered if anyone could aswer my question?

I have just had what my surgeon called open surgical stabilisation of patella on my right knee following multiple dislocations.
From researching i have discovered that this is a TTT as my tibial tubicle has been surgically moved and re-placed more medially and distally. Then two screws inserted to keep it in place.

Is the fulkerson technique another name for this surgery?

There are several versions of the TTT including the Fulkerson, Emmslie Trilliat, and Hauser.  The type of TTT depends on how the tibial tubercle is cut and repositioned. 

The Fulkerson cuts the tibial tubercle at an angle and therefore not only medializes the Tibial Tubercle but elevates it.

I have had the Fulkerson.  Then I had revisions to distally transfer my tibial tubercle. (I had patella alta)

I think, after researching loads again, i have had the emmslie trillat procedure (i think thats not spelt right). I havent had my Tibia tubercle elevated just repositioned medially and distally.

Im so in the dark about this procedure and scaring myself about whats in store for me once the cast is off. This webiste has helped so much i wish i had found you all before it was too late. I had absolutly no idea about TTT.
