Help with MRI results
« on: July 09, 2008, 10:58:06 PM »
I was just wondering if anyone might could help me understand the findings of my latest MRI.  In the report it states that A 1-mm area of increased T2 signal is present within the inferior aspect of the posterior horn of the lateral meniscus.  It also says that there is an increased T2 signal present within the deep aspect of the Hoffa Fat pad.

Any ideas?

They only thing useful on an MRI report to regular people is what it says under the Impressions section. Trying to read the rest of it is futile if you're not a radiologist.
