Any Experience with Oxynium Smith & Nephew TKR?
« on: June 12, 2008, 05:05:22 PM »
My OS recommends the Oxynium Smith & Nephew prosthesis for my TKR. He said this is relatively new but longer wearing and used for younger patients ( I am 58). Does anyone have any experience with this?

I have an oxinium implant.  It is also supposed to help with possible metal allergy.  It is my third knee and not sure how it compares, it is still there after 4 years although I have arthrofibrosis.
