Prolotherapy

Has anyone tried this option? I have read the basic information given in
http://www.caringmedical.com/therapies/prolotherapy.asp
. However, I was wondering what other potential side effects it could have. Could it result in overgrowth of cartilage necessitating another arthroscopy to shave it? Also does anyone know how long the effects last? I suffered injuries in an accident where my articular cartilage became soft and 2 ligaments were torn (MCL + MMT).

I have tried it and highly recommend it. Dr. Hauser of caring Medical uses plasma (your own blood reinjected into site), HGH, and other factors to stimulate the cartilage growth. It can be permanent.

Thanks for the quick response. I know that Dr. Hauser is well-known for using this technique. However, is there a way to find a good doctor in Houston, Texas?
www.getprolo.com
lists physicians who practice this technique but there is no way to know how good they are.
