when i was seeing the crap OS i was so so sick before seeing him, on the loo for the whole morning. and i never got anywhere with him.
last tuesday i was totally blase - just expecting to be blown off again ya know? and believe me there was no one more surprised than me at how it came out!!!
take travel sick tablets if you are in bits before the appointment - they are very good to settle the stomach from nerves.
i usually take Rescue Remedy for the nerves too.

Im grand, Im a bit up and down in mood - on the one hand Im delighted that there is further investigation happening, on the other hand my head is wrecked its not happening right now this minute and I still have to struggle on and wait and Im also terrified in case the outcome is bad - but then if its good itll be fantastic - so Im a bit all over the place

I look forward to the time when I can have a wee glass of wine again. Its hard knowing its always one or the other. I must admit to not really bieng a drinker, not since I had the kids but the minute you know you can't have something then all of a sudden I think I wish I could have a wee glass tonight. Do you know what I mean ?

Pretty much, unless he is on holiday or unavailable. Last time I saw him he put me in within 10 days but this time I want to leave it until the end of May so yeah I can within reason.

wow - thats cool. in ireland you get no choice - doesnt matter if your public (same as nhs) or private (either your paying or your health insurance is) - ireland is starting to go like the american model where only people with money or good insurance get treated properly - public waiting lists have become so long that people die waiting to see someone. its terrible.
my health insurance wont cover my knee til 2010 - so im paying

bummer, that is tough. My hubbies insurance is from his work but he has to supllement it from his wage and covers me and him. However they do give you a limited allowance.

I am having surgery on Monday, I live in USA. I can't wait to see this bill..... Thankfully I have really good health insurance. But the hospital called to day. They left a message on my answer machine they would like me to pay my co payment before I go in. It's 200.00 not bad at all. but that's-only my co payment I think I have to pay 10% of the bill too.... I wonder how it compares with you all. If that it to personal, I apologize, just wondering........
