Ehlers Danlos Syndrome & TTT surgery
« on: February 22, 2008, 11:23:20 AM »
I posted in another section & had some really useful replies from Liz & Fawn who have EDS. I wondered if anyone else with EDS has had this surgery & what their experience was? I have Classical EDS & secondary Fibromyalgia so am wondering how this will effect things. I'm due to have the procedure in 3 weeks.

Hi there,

It is really important that your OS has an understanding of loose ligaments.

My OS does and can make a big difference in your recovery.

I saw my OS last week and am waiting on insurance approval before I have a trochleoplasty, a deepening of my groove. Going back to see my OS on the 12th of March to make sure I know what I'm going in for.

Good luck !!!
