Future Technologies for knee repair
« on: February 04, 2008, 04:52:12 AM »
I just found out they have been doing cloned Cartilage since the 90's which is very impressive.

I was wondering what new techniques are being developed for knee repair beyond just cloned cartilage and prosthetic replacement for knees ? I've heard about certain scaffolding structures that may be viable for seeding tendon repair. Mostly techniques that we may see in the next 10 to maybe even 20 years if such a span can be even predicted. i realize that 2 decades technology development might be unpredictable in this field but i was wondering if anybody had any potential predictions or outlooks on current developments.  i hope i am posting in the right forum.
