Strange Symptom
« on: January 29, 2008, 04:10:14 PM »
Hello,

I am experiencing a strange new symptom in my knee saga and I was wondering if anyone else has experienced this as well.  I have developed what I describe to be an "itch" on the medial side of my knee that is not related to the skin as there is nothing there when I looked.  It feels as though it is deep within the joint and I can't reach it.  I was thinking that this might be nerve related but I am unsure.  Any thoughts are appreciated.

Take care,
Joni

Could be something nerve related and probably nothing to worry about.
After having numerous surgeries on a knee you can get strange feelings now and then and that doesn't have to come straight away after a surgery.
If there's no pain, then I am sure you are fine.
Surgery 6 times left knee torn meniscus, RSDS,chondromalacia, nervdamage cause constant nervpain, chronic inflamm.
Spinaldamage wheeler 100%.
Right knee damaged aug-06, use brace surgery 4/9-07.LCL tear.

Hi Nettan,

I am hoping you're right.  I ended up with nerve damage after my acl repair and I am hoping that it is just the verves knitting back together, but it is such an odd sensation.  It's frustrating as I can't get to it grrrrrr..... ;)
