Use of Heat after ACI Procedure
« on: January 28, 2008, 02:06:16 AM »
Does anyone know if putting heat on your knee is supposed to be good or bad following an ACI procedure? I am interested to know if the use of heat would help with cell growth or inhibit it. Has anyone spoke with their Doctor about this?

This probably won't answer your question, but when I was using my CPM machine and I was having extreme pain (probably due to scar tissue), my OS told me to use moist heat on my knee when I was in the machine.
LOA #2 and hardware removal 12/15/08-new cartilage from ACI looks "GOOD"
LOA on left knee 3/18/07
ACI and HTO on left knee 10/22/07
scope of right knee on 6/21/07
microfracture left knee 3/18/05
