Anybody have any experience with this.....
« on: January 17, 2008, 04:15:08 PM »
I had a microfracture proceedure back in May of 2005 but lately I've been having a lot of pain in my knee so I figured it might be time to have my total knee replacement done.  So, today I saw a new doctor who specializes in knee reconstruction.  He found that it is not time for the TKR yet and in fact, the microfracture is holding really well.....plenty of space in my knee.  But he said that there is something new going on.  He says that my knee cap isn't tracking right....it's tracking to the right.  And he said that there is a spur and also that I have a cist under my knee cap.  He sent me back to the OS who did my microfracture surgery to have another scope done.

I hope you can get help to sort this out fast.
Though there are problems, must feel good anyway that a TKR isn't on the road yet ?
The tracking issues, have they been seen before ? Could also be that you don't have enough muscles in right place that pulls your knee cap to the right.
Surgery 6 times left knee torn meniscus, RSDS,chondromalacia, nervdamage cause constant nervpain, chronic inflamm.
Spinaldamage wheeler 100%.
Right knee damaged aug-06, use brace surgery 4/9-07.LCL tear.

kitten, i have had microfractures too and i too thought that mine had worn out because of the returned severe pain in my knee. my OS went back in and found that my micro was still strong (i did have another lesion that he did a hemicap on) but to this day, i still have that severe pain as if the micro has worn out. my Os has no idea what is causing this either. my allignment is fine but still have the pain.

goodluck with your scope.

Hi
I was asked to split this thread as the conversation was drifting into a new topic. I have therefore split it. I was also aasked to add it to an existing Lyrica thread, but the software does not let you join two threads. So I just made a second thread called Lyrica II. I hope that you can work with that?
