k...

ive tried everything that they have told me to (havent been able to get the lift in my shoe because my doc said that is not the priority, only the calf injury.

i was diagnosed with tendinitis at age 7.

been to PM but they said to come back on a "need to" basis because they couldnt do anything (maybe ill go back)

i was offered a scholarship at age 8 (play on the team till college)

i have only been to one surgeon, and the others are docs

my mom is sick and tired of going to docs when they cant figure out whats wrong

yeah, 7 years old. from catching in softball

i mean just docs (GP's.) i also am going to a osteo-something doc/surgeon. he knows more about my knee problems than my ortho does.

I would say sue him, except its been too many years.

Having tenditis at the age of 7 is nearly impossible. And thats the problem, your going to the wrong doctor...

This sounds more neuro related that actuall physical related.

You can buy a lift for your shoe at any drug store.

Hi
I read all your posts some time ago and have just re-read them. Your story reminded me a lot of a girl called Heather whose mum Lisa posted about her ('upset mom'). Lisa tuned out to have RND (http://www.amazingkids.org/dg_17.asp and http://www.amazingkids.org/cs_16.asp) and was treated by a Dr Sherry at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (http://www.chop.edu/consumer/pat_care_fam_serv/staff_profile_page.jsp?id=73385). Here is the thread - http://www.kneeguru.co.uk/KNEEtalk/index.php?topic=15107.msg170512#msg170512

It seems that despite this recent gastroc tear things have started to improve for you compared to how you were a year ago. I guess the long time with crutches probably played a role in tightening up the gastrocs? I think it is important to keep positive, get this problem healed, optimise your posture and hopefully things will settle down again without any drastic intervention.

Talk to your physical therapist about the lift.  They should be able to help you find the correct size and could even make one for you.
