I have been reading about this procedure for a few days now since first seeing it on an online article.

I'm actually amazed at the success rate they claim.  I guess the procedure is too new to make any judgement, I'd like to talk to someone who actually had ti done.  They say they only did 50 in the past 2 years.  Its goign to be hard to find someone who had it done.

I know my insurance wont cover it, but for 5k if I can make myself 30% better I'd do it in a heart beat.

does anyone have any information about this?  I was goign to ask my knee doctor to see if he has heard of it.  anybody shed some light on this, I tried to call the company but they are not answering.

Dr Toft @ The Alpha Klinik is doing research in the same area

Also University of Southern California has funding for Stem Cell research too

My surgeon is a lead orthopaedic professor at the same university too. So I may crash his 4th of July party to talk shop with him and get myself some new "Independence!"
