Hi fellow sufferers!
« on: December 22, 2007, 12:03:38 AM »
Just found this site and thought I'd say hi! I've had pain in both knees since the middle of the year due to pre-patellar bursitis , steroid injections in september and physiotherapy, which seemed to help somewhat. However, the bursa have become inflamed again and today had steroid injection in the worse knee and my doctor has said I need to wait four weeks to have the other knee done.

The company I work for have been pretty decent so far, alternative duties and flexible working, although I don't think they were very impressed when I phoned in sick this week! It's quite a large organisation so I'm trying hard to get a more office based job, as my current position involves quite a lot of walking, sometimes having to crouch down in confined spaces.

Happy Christmas to all, I'm hoping for a new set of knees, but doubt if santa does those! ;)
