ACL Revision
« on: October 16, 2007, 04:20:12 PM »
I have just had a revision ACL done two weeks ago today and am in the middle of my recovery
I managed to break it first in 2000, skiing, my ski didn't come off after a high speed fall.... ouch!
I then broke the repair in 2006 when I jumped about 3 ft off a scaffold as part of my work. It went ping and I fell to the ground.
So obviously I am keen to protect the repair in the future.
My family and I are keen skiiers and I would not like to give this up!
Does anyone know of a good maker of a brace suitable to be worn for skiing and able to be worn outside of ski trousers?
I have a basic brace to wear inside but it is too uncomfortable.
I would be happy to pay for a purpose made brace, just don't know where to start. I live near Glasgow.
Can anyone help?
