We also have a cracking autumn day - brilliant unshine, plus 16c, and the leaves are falling fast.

Must go to the park this pm and feed the ducks.............

Lucky you, our leaves changed a while back, then we had a windy and wet night last week, and all the trees on the north side of the yard are now bald ???

We have some wonderful colours and I really am going to enjoy driving home to the mountains to day in SUNLIGHT! The view as I drive over the last big hill seprating my area from the rest of Upper Bavaria is simply amazing, especially in Autumn. John knows the place - the top of the Irscheberg on the A8 John and the panorama of the Inntal Alps opens up in front of you. Amazingly beautiful

This time last year I ws in Baden Baden for a day. We didn't get to see enough of Bavaria. I was impressed with the beauty of the city. Maybe next year when I can walk properly.

Baden Baden in in the west of southern Germany Sue I'm in the east! Main city for me is Munich, the capital of Bavaria, although I'm actually closer to Salzburg in Austria.

The view as I came over the Irschenberg was truly breath-taking and the colours were mind blowing. It is a comfortable 24C here with clear blue skies and sunshine - and I've not got to work for 5 days!

I JUST HAVE TO HAVE A GOOD PICTURE TAKEN . IT SOUNDS SO BEAUTIFUL. OUR TREES ARE BARLEY JUST TURNING NOW. I LIVE IN THE MOUNTAINS SO WHEN THEY TURN IT IS ALSO VERY PRETTY HERE.  CAROL ;D

I'm off to take some now as the sun is shining but it is low so the colour definition and contrasts will be better!

I can't post them here so anyone any ideas how I can get them so you can all see them?

Wil hi Sue in Germany, another face to a name, good to see you. Looks like you had a great time, and what a lot of people! One of theses days I'll get round to having a photo of me, but hope you enjoyed the animals anyway.

The UK is condeming the expanding grey squirell population  - a very dangerous situation for the red squirells..........

They are eating us out of house & home.
