Squelching Knees
« on: August 21, 2007, 08:39:32 PM »
Dear resident knee experts and friends

Can someone please help solve my problem? For some time now both of my knees make a weird squelching noise whenever I walk upstairs, there is no pain and I'm relatively fit swimming several times a week and taking regular low impact exercise such as aqua aerobics, but I can't help but thinking this sound emanating from my knees can't be right!

Many thanks Woo

If there's no pain nor swelling or other problem then the noise and you can exercise without problems well then you don't need to worry.
Many people lives with noises but never ever have a problem.
Surgery 6 times left knee torn meniscus, RSDS,chondromalacia, nervdamage cause constant nervpain, chronic inflamm.
Spinaldamage wheeler 100%.
Right knee damaged aug-06, use brace surgery 4/9-07.LCL tear.

Thanks Nettan, you've really helped put my mind at ease, I guess I'll just try and get used to the squelching!

Take care
Woo
