« on: August 07, 2007, 10:09:06 AM »
I had a total knee replacement three months ago, the knee is fine bur I have constant pain in the outer aspect of my calf and foot. On investigation and scan no clot was found, and I was simply told it was comong from my lower back but given no more advice. Any sggestions?

Hi troony ~ Congratulations on a successful TKR. I'm only guessing here but just recently when I did more damage to the lateral side of my knee I found I was altering the way I walked & eventually ended up with a very sore outer calf & foot. Could the fit of your new knee have for some reason put more stress on the lateral side of your leg?? Wishing you well...Ellie
