Hello, I am new to the site and I just found out.....
« on: July 31, 2007, 03:09:33 AM »
that I ruptured my ACL back on July 2nd playing softball from the results of my MRI.  I am a very active former athlete and from everything I am reading....I'll be out for the next 6-9 months.  Surgery is pretty much inevitable at this point....I have very good heath insurance and employee benefits so I fully expect to do whatever is necessary to get myself back playing sports by next summer.  He also mention there was some bone damage and maybe mensicis(sp?) damage, but at that point I was a little overwhelmed.

He has referred me to go see the orthopedist and I am still waiting to hear from them.  I just found this out at 9:30am this morning.

What should I expect to hear from my orthopedist(i realize every case is different)? What was your story?
