Hi
Here is hoping that one of our American posters can recommend an Orthopaedic Consultant in your area.
Best wishes

You're more than likely just going to have to call around. If nobody in your area will do it then obviously you'll have to broaden your search. Maybe use one of the doctors affiliated with a pro sports team. Even if someone could name a doctor they can't tell you if they'd do surgery or not. Maybe it just simply can't be done and that's why nobody will mess with it.

I checked the website for surgeons in Arkansas & there's only one listed. But here's a start:
Martin Bowen Hefley Knee & Sports Clinic,
5 Saint Vincent Cir Ste 100,
Little Rock, Arkansas 72205-5415, USA.
tel:+1-501-663-6455
fax:+1-501-663-4877
I know nothing about this practice so wish you well...Ellie

Hi there -
I know that you are Arkansas - but do you have any Cleveland Clinic Satellite hospitals/clinics in your area or close by? If not....it would DEFINITELY be worth the $$$ to fly into Cleveland Hopkins airport and go to the Clinic. They are 3rd out of the top 10 hospitals NATIONWIDE. You surely can't beat that. You can get online at
www.ccf.org
and check things out for yourself and even make yourself an appointment. They have areas that you can stay if your are from out of town also.
Good Luck
