what could this be?
« on: July 17, 2007, 07:59:04 PM »
was playing hoops yesterday, went to try to steal the ball, and lunged forward -right knee was at a 90 degree angle to the floor- felt a minor tweak-continued to play-today back of knee and front of shin are in pain, knee feels extremely "tight".However there is no swelling -pain is deep within the knee-also all the way up the back of the leg(hamstring area)into the low back-could this be a simple hamstring tear or a PCL problem- moderate brusing behind the knee- can still walk on it- slight pain-any ideas? it was my 4th day in a row running-I do know better than to push it that much-thanks

Its kind of early to say at this point. I would give it a few weeks to heal. Hopefully it is just sprained. Good Luck
