MRI results....
« on: July 08, 2007, 09:46:38 PM »
  • very small tear in the meniscus
    sprained MCL
    totally severed the ACL
small compressed fracture of 3mm in the Tibia

I am seeing if they are going to fix the fracture next week but the knee guy said nothing about surgery and I am 3 weeks out of injury. I have very little pain. My knee is really stiff and I have just started working that. Besides lack of muscle tone I think I could walk with my brace on of course. What should I be expecting? Anyone had anything like this?

It is likely that they will want to repair the torn ACL... it will not repair itself and is pretty vital to the stability of your knee. BUt this they will probably not do until you've regained your full range of motion and strengthened the muscles. SO it may be a little while.
