Hey Kneedy8,

Glad that your are getting your replacement trained.  In terms of your comment, yep, it does say something about the perception of osteotomy versus total or partial knee replacement (at least in some orthopaedic circles), when a well-regarded OS elects to get an HTO instead of a TKR or a PKR.

Good that the strike has been settled as well!

Anyways, Kneedy (and Whitey) both of you will be fine.

Cheers from KWBG!

Hi Whitey,

Not sure if you'll remember but you contacted me about my distal femoral osteotomy.  I just thought i'd see how you were doing and if in fact you had had yours done.

I had mine in July and I'm down to using one crutch, the break has healed very nicely and I'm due back at hospital on the 11th October.  The rehab was no where near as bad as I expected.  I started back in school in September and although I've had a lot of swelling in the evening. it's not been too bad during the day.

it would be great to hear from you and let me know how you're getting on!!!!!  You can email me directly on [email protected]

Hope to speak to you soon.

Rob
