first pt after ok from OS to weight bear
« on: June 20, 2007, 05:49:54 PM »
Hi there

I just had my first physio appt since OS said I could weight bear last week. Measured 80 degrees ROM and could weight bear 96 pounds. Have two excercises to help increase ROM. Got new crutches - had old wooden ones that killed my forearms - and have been walking. I find after I sit for a bit I get stiff and it takes a while to get going again. Will start bike at PT next week. I am so excited my leg is starting to feel like it belongs to me again and doesn't have a life of its own. After surgery I affectionately called it Chub!!!! Sometimes not so affectionately. So there is light at the end of the tunnel. (TPF April 21/07)
