Anyone have problems with the other knee
« on: June 03, 2007, 04:23:35 PM »
I hope this is the right place to ask this question.  A had an ACL replacement April 2006.  Had a second surgery May 7, 2007.  (Don't know what that one is called)  Where they try to get the cartiledge to grow.  Anyway still on crutches and getting pain in my other knee almost as severe as the one I had the surgeries on.  Anyone had this problem?

Probably a overuse injury. Very common if you can't use one of your legs for longer time and the other one has to take all weight.
Take care of the other leg too, you can try RICE as often as you can.
And once you start up having rehab on your bad leg do exercises on your good leg too.
Surgery 6 times left knee torn meniscus, RSDS,chondromalacia, nervdamage cause constant nervpain, chronic inflamm.
Spinaldamage wheeler 100%.
Right knee damaged aug-06, use brace surgery 4/9-07.LCL tear.

Thank you...I have another appointment this Thursday and was nervous about talking to the Dr. about the other knee, so I appreciate your comment of it being common.  I have been going to PT since the 8th and I will take your advice. Thank you agaoin
