Hi Judy

Sorry, but I couldn't seem to reply to your pm - not sure why - I keep getting amessage to say I can't 'pm'

However, I don't know how much help I can be as I went into A&E in Newcastle and saw a Mr Warlock, who did my patellocotomy....I didn't have much choice I had to have it following a fall on cobble on 'good old' Pink lane in Newcastle...He seems to have done a good job - knee is pretty much back to normal and have a ROM back to normal - it could do with a bit more strength, but then I am lazy!

I have a collegue who has also had a knee operation following a football incident - I can see if he can recommend anyone.....if you want more info - do you want to pm me again with your email address?

Hope this helps and good luck with the appointment.

16 Oct 2005 - Patellectomy
1st Dec 2005 - Full leg cast removed
4th Dec 2005 - Pulmonary Embolism
2nd Feb 2006 - ROM 55 degrees

Update Feb 2007!
All's doing very well - rom is nearly back to normal - still need to work on strength and stamina.
