ah really bad pain
« on: April 04, 2007, 06:29:01 AM »
all day my right knee has been in horrible pain. its really quite different than anything i've experienced. i'll try to describe it...hopefully you guys can help.

so the pain is at the outside of my right knee, slightly to the outside of the tendon (i think it's my hamstring tendon, but i'm not entirely sure). when i put my foot on the ground and rotate my shin, theres an enormous amount of grinding and popping back there. initially i was afraid of something to the PLC, but it really doesn't seem like that. i can rotate my right shin externally more than my left, but i haven't had any sort of traumatic injury to the PLC. is there any time of degenerative thing that can happen back there? it really reminds me of the grinding i feel in my kneecap, but just on the outside/rear of my right knee.

i'm doing the whole RICE dealy as best i can...
