I am new and as my login states, I am a very avid skier. I am looking for assistance with the relative severity of this injury and the best way to treat it to maintain a very active lifestyle. In addition to the tear, I also have patellar tendinitis, I can deal with that with Alieve but the knee gets very painful and feels unstable when skiing high speed, steep runs or when skiing technical lines in trees or varied terrain. I am 43, 6' 178#, male.

Heres the entire MRI finding:
"Degeneration in the posterior horn of the medial meniscus with eveidence of a Horizontal Cleaveage tear in Posterior Horn extending to Meniscocapsular Surface."

Your help is appreciated!
