A bit of an update

Hey everyone, I've got a bit of an update regarding my knee injury. I when to see my GP a couple of weeks ago and i have finally been sent to a Specialist. My first meeting with the doctor is on the 7th March.

However I'm quite worried because if i need to have any form of opertation this would be my first major op.

Just thought i would let you guys all know whats happening since i last posted here

Hi,

Don't jump to any conclusions just yet, go see the doc and take it from there. If you do need surgery, they will take very good care of you. Yes, it is a scary thing but don't let your imagination get wild. We are here to give you support and encouragement. Best of luck and please keep us updated.

hi there!! as peggy said i would try not to worry too much yet!! i think most specialists try other options first before surgery and only do this as the last resort.
if the worst comes to the worst and you do have to have surgery your'e in good company here! ive just had my second op which has been quite a big one and its been nice airing some of my concerns and getting replys from people who have been there and understand!!

Hi there

I agree. I would try not to worry to much just yet. I would see what your specialist has to say about the situation first. OS will look at a number of options before resulting to surgery, that is usually a last resort.
