weird knee pain
« on: February 25, 2007, 08:41:10 PM »
Hi im new on here and im looking for a little advise with regards to the knee pain im getting.  Ive recently been getting a strange pain in my left knee for now apparent reason.  The pain is intermittent and it only last a few seconds, however it is quite intense and it wakes me up at night.  Im 35 and i play football regular and i do thai boxing for one hour per week.  I had a dead left leg (thigh) last week and was wondering if this may be related.  However ive played football yesterday and today and i my knee is not restricting me from this.  cheers Andy

If you go see your GP they can determin if it is cause to go see another type of doctor.   Really it could be anything to a muscle pull to a meniscus tear ..But one thing I can say if you are indoubt just go see a doctor and he can sort it out before it becomes a bigger problem.

Hi there

I agree definatley go and see a specialist. It could be any of a number of things that could be the problem. But get it checked out now to be on the safe side, knees are such a funny thing and if left can lead to more problems.

Good luck with it all, and keep us posted
