Weird Knee Pain

I was playing basketball, ran into a padded wall knee first, felt nothing for about 30 minutes, then when I was walking I randomly had a sharp SHARP pain to the left of the patella. Then about 15 min. later, same pain, but to the right of the patella. There appears to be no swelling or any indication of a fracture, but I tend to collapse when this random sharp pain comes. Please help if you can.

Hi there

Sorry to hear of your recent problems. The best thing that you could do is if the pain doesn't subside over a couple of days is to go to your GP. They could give you a proper examination and if they feel nesercery refer you to an OS.

hi i would definatley get this checked over asap to rule out anything more serious........knees are delicate things and experience has told me that so many things can go wrong with them!!
