knee pain and cortisone injections
« on: September 11, 2002, 03:38:31 AM »
Had really bad knee pain and alot of crunching sounds.  Pain was its worst when going down steps.  Dr. took xrays and said there was arthritis behind the patella and gave me a cortisone injection.  This was in May and did take the pain away.  My long do the injections last??  Will the pain be the same as before (ouch!!)???  Thanks

Hi Chris

Welcome to the board.
I asked a similiar question a few days ago and I got some helpful replies- it is under the heading Cortisone Injections and it is either in the rehab section or don't know whats wrong need help.

There is a great selection of view points there too.
