I am sure many of you use a CPM Machine but I never knew what it looked like till I saw this video on Youtube of a guy using it. Maybe he already a Member of KneeGeeks and posted on here so hope he does not mind the link being put on bulletin board. I wounder how much it cost to buy for the NHS expensive I bet, but can see it helps you out if you had knee surgery which I hope I never have to have.

i have used one a few times at PT, i think they seem good.
i never have used one as many hours a day as six but when i have been to PT the last few times and my ROM had not improved i went on it and it pushed me slightly further then i was getting myself,i seem to have maintained it by doing my other PT exercises.
the last few degrees can push abit!!
i had a motorcycle accident-landed on right knee!(mar 05)
...arthroscopy - 4th feb 06.
...VMO Advancement,LR+JMedial reefing - 24th jan 07.
...28 feb 07 i fell down 14 stairs.....more pain and stress!
...now at PT working on ROM and strenghening

If you have AF, a CPM is useless as it comes unstrapped with the velcro and just slides across the bed.  You are better to put you leg on the wall next to your bed and use gravity.
