sudden pain
« on: February 15, 2007, 10:27:37 PM »
Ok so I'm running hurdles for track. Yesterday I whacked the kneecap of my trail leg on the hurdle. Idk if that's relevant, but that same knee hurts. Well today I was walking around school and my knee started hurting pretty badly. It could just be plain old pfps, but it feels like it could be near my meniscus. I suppose the trail leg motion could put stress on the meniscis. U think its anything? I know its prolly not, but I just wanna get ur opinons

Try rest, ice and elevate for some days and see if you get better.
Maybe you should avoid to run for some days.
Surgery 6 times left knee torn meniscus, RSDS,chondromalacia, nervdamage cause constant nervpain, chronic inflamm.
Spinaldamage wheeler 100%.
Right knee damaged aug-06, use brace surgery 4/9-07.LCL tear.

Agree with Nettan, give it a weeks rest, really, REST, Ice, Compression... and see if it improves. If it doesn't, visit your doctor, but it could just be a nasty bruise that hasn't made itself obvious just yet. :)

Take care
hope you're good as new soon
