Surgery is tomorrow
« on: February 08, 2007, 02:15:46 PM »
So, the surgical center finally called me yesterday with a time for my surgery- 3:15.. I got a little freaked out because when she was telling me what they were going to do she said right knee.. I was like NO, it is the left knee... I hope that that is  not a sign.. haha.. Today I am actually pretty calm. My sorority sisters are throwing me a buh bye bad knees party tonight, and i am super excited about that... I will try to post tomorrow night when I get home from the surgical center and let you guys know how things went...

Good Luck ;D Im sure everything will be fine. I am 11 days post op on my right knee(fulkerson osteotomy) When you get there they will ask you a hundered times what knee is it? That is what they have done to me. And they also have marked my knee with permenint marker that says what knee is beeing done.

Well Good Luck 8)

Good luck and don't worry - they will mark the right (wait the correct) knee.  Hope your party tonight was fun and what a great party idea.  Will be thinking about you tomorrow.

I am doing ok. I am now on antibiotics with a possible knee infection. If it doesn't get any better tomorrow then I have to go the OS office tomorrow. I am currently taking Keflex.. I will keep you posted as to what happens...

Hi

Glad you are okay - and good you got antibiotics just in case! - do you have any fever?, or heat on the incision site - mind you best to get it checked anyway!

Take care
