TKA & hyperextension
« on: February 02, 2007, 09:37:01 PM »
I have always had a problem with hyperextension in my knees.  I had TKA in Dec.  The post in my joint replacement is trying to pop out of the groove.  I am wearing a immobility brace at night.  This seems to have helped. I have not had the joint hurt or try to "pop out of palce" since I have been sleeping in the brace. I was just wondering if anyone had this happen to them.  My OS said it was not rare but it was usuaual  (like 2%).  I am suppose to sleep in the brace at night and I am not suppose to use any brace during the day until I go back to my OS in March.
