I'm new to this board and scheduled for total knee replacement on 4/17/07.  What does TTT mean that you keep writing about.  Also, where can I go on the internet to find out exactly what will happen during and after surgery.

Thanks for your help.

If you want to see what will happen during the surgery check out the link from OR-Live!

http://www.or-live.com/duluthclinic/1753/

This also goes into what happens before and after surgery, and discusses the rehab aspects.
1999 LR, 2002 ACL/PLC recon, reversal of LR, 2004 ACL revision, 2006 Car accident torn PCL and small fractures resulting in bone chips in my knee.  Torn MCL 3 times.  Wicked screws under IT band and Pes Anserine.  June 2008-Hip Arthroscopy.

A TTT is a Tibial Tuberosity Transfer.  It is a distal realignment surgery for correcting a maligned patella.  There are several types of TTT's include a Fulkerson, Maquet, and Emislle Trilliat.  It is a common surgery for many of the posters on this board, myself included.
