New here...have some questions?

I had an mri done last year and it said I ahd a complex meniscus tear along with a complete acl tear. After almost 3 years of having this injury I'm having my first visit with a doctor on the 4th. I'm pretty young and can't do any sports, anything requiring a lot of physical activity. the pain is unbearable now....the first 2 years weren't so bad but it keeps messing up. I think im gunna opt for surgery but if I do, does anyone know if rehabilitation in Ontario is free? Also...does anyone know what to expect on my first visit with the specialist?

As far as rehab in Ontario--I don't know.  But for your first visit your Doc will probably ask you several questions about how you injured yourself and what pain you are having.  They will look at the MRI and bend, pull and twist your knee all around.  My best advice to you is to take a list of questions you want to ask with you.  If you are like most people, once you enter the office you end up forgetting every thing you wanted to ask.
