The first 2 weeks will be tough.  I'm now 3 weeks post op for the same thing, plus medial reefing and pkr.  I wasn't well prepared by my OS for what to expect, although the postings on this board are very helpful.  You should take a look at the posting in the rehab section, post op diaries.  Those give a good idea about what to expect.  Basically you are having a LR & a TTT so look at those postings.  While the recovery seems to vary quite a bit, if you can stick it out for the first couple of weeks, it become more tolerable.  Stay up on the meds and don't let the pain get ahead of you.  Is it going to be outpatient or are they keeping you one night?

Let me know if you have any specific questions, I'm happy to relay to you how it's been for me the past 3 weeks.

Good luck with the surgery.
