I'm headed in the right direction :) Still working to get ROM back, but feeling much better.   I just finished reading your first post in your post-op diary.  I'm glad that the surgery went smooth for you.  Hopefully it won't drive you crazy being on crutches for 4 weeks.  Keep us updated on your progress and how you are feeling.

Okay, so my left knee surgery is scheduled for January 25th.  It was either that or March...and I don't think I can wait that long.

Excellent Brianne,
Now you've got a firm date and can start getting ready. I know you're probably not excited about going through this again, but I'm sure you'll be glad to get it over and done with. I wasn't thrilled about doing surgery in the middle of winter either, but I also felt that I couldn't wait til summer, and I'm glad I didn't.
The knee is still feeling OK. It got a little more sore today, but nothing I couldn't handle with Tylenol and ice.

Hey all! surgery went really well! It was not as scary as Ithought it would be.

Turns out - no mensical tear! which is great. He did a chondroplasty and removed some inflmaed synovial tissue. Hopefully this will help some!

I hope everyone else has a positive experience like I am (so far..). I'll post up in "post op diaries"  with updates and such.

Been a good 2007 thus far!

Oh my gosh I am not looking forward to another knee surgery.  I wanted to cry when I left my OS's office today because even though I knew it was coming it just hit me that I am really having another knee surgery.  My OS felt that the surgery should be done as soon as it could be scheduled.  January 25th was the first available date.

Based on the x-rays taken today it looks like my left is more misaligned than my right was.  That is interesting because my right always bothered me more.  My right is prefect now.  ;D

Terre, I am so glad to hear that things are continuing to go well.  That must be a blessing to have realtively little pain and to not have to use anything more than Tylenol.
