undiagnosed knee pain
« on: January 02, 2007, 07:51:20 PM »
First post hope I communicate well. In recent weeks I have had pain in right knee inside of leg on joint. No apparent swelling. Due to holidays it is not easy to get appointment for diagnosis. Rotation of foot very painfull as is beginning to walk from sitting. can bear full weight & bend. Oddly enough depends on position of leg as sometimes is not. Do excercise well walking & much badminton to club level (until this began now I am crocked). Really worriied that I cannot take standard Ibrofopen due to ashma & stomach illness so will be limited in standard treatment. I have no recent injury to recall so am really in the dark. Now pain afffecting work as I do climb lots of stairs.
What are the alternative to ibrufopen?
Any incling to what is wrong to help narrow down search for help?
Not not to keen on asking my normal GP due to the fact he did not spot ruptured meniscis for 2 years until I went private but will seek full medical help from another GP when they return from holiday.
Regards
