They finally gave him something for the Pain!
« on: December 05, 2006, 05:34:11 PM »
I took Eli to the ER last night because of all the run around I was getting.  The ER doc called in the moron local OS who would not prescribe anything because he didn't do the surgery.  Anyway he ended up giving us a prescription for OxyContin.  After 20mg he finally got some relief.  It's pretty messed up that I had to go that route.  Eli slept all night and is still sleeping.  I didn't bother to make him go to school after what he went through last night.
My 17 year old son had the OATS procedure on November 29th, 2006.  He has two previous scopes on the right knee and one on the left.

At least he is getting some relief. Its terrible that you had to go through the ER to do it.

Hopefully he can rest today!!
