Yak trax
« on: December 02, 2006, 11:50:34 PM »
Hi,

last year, there were many posts about a wonderful little invention called yak trax. They are made of rubber around the outside and metal springs in the middle and fit around your shoes, providing a metal grip. They provide a secure fitting on ice and snow, and are great for those feeling a bit nervous after a fall, or indeed for preventing all those awful icy streets injuries. You can buy them online, just bung the term yak trax into google. And no, I don't work for the company, but would heartily recommend to you.
